I can't see any reason to pray for the sunshine if we are going to continue to
live in the cellar!
1 Thessalonians 5:5 tells us, "You are all sons of light and sons of the day.
We are not of the night nor of darkness."
I don't know about you, but that is talking to me! Daylight and sunshine are
what I need - the darkness and night, I can do without. Of course, we know
that this verse is speaking of believers as compared to non-believers. Those
who follow God's Word have been enlightened; and those who don't are still
in the cellar, so to speak. Lord send your Sonshine into my life that I might
live and live as you said in John 10:10, "I am come that they might have life
and have it more abundantly."
