"Come on! We know you can do it!" That little cheer is sometimes all we need
to make that extra push. We need someone giving us a word of encouragement.
Hebrews 12:1 reminds us that we have "so great a cloud of witnesses" cheering
us on along the sidelines of life. We know they are there, but we have encouragers
here also. We read Romans 16:16, "Salute one another with an holy kiss.
The churches of Christ salute you." That means that we are sending a special
way of loving and encouraging others along the Christian pathway.
I Corinthians 1:10 tells us to all speak the same thing and to be joined together.
Would life be better for you if you knew you had others cheering you on? If that is
true, how about you being an encouragement to those you come in contact with
during your day!
