We have to make choices everyday. Often the decision to make a certain choice
is difficult to do. Perhaps there are two things that are equally good so we use
deductive reasoning. The Bible offers advice about making good choices, and
the key to making good decisions seems to be that in the knowledge of God we
make our best choices.
Paul, in Philippians 1:9 says, "And this I pray, that your love may abound still
more and more in knowledge and all discernment.."
That couldn't be any plainer for us, could it? The more we know about God, the
better we are able to make choices in life. May we spend this day more concerned
about how our decisions affect others and why making good choices help ourselves
as well.
