Airwalking is the term given to the skateboarding move when the skater
takes off from a ramp, slips his board out from under his feet, and then
takes some steps in the air before landing. It is a classic stunt.

When we step out in faith, it is somewhat like airwalking, isn't it?
We let go of what we know and go into a space of the unknown. That's what happened
in Acts 3:8-9, "And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with
them into the temple, walking and leaping, and praising God. And all the people
saw him walking and praising God."

Peter had just healed the blind man with this statement: "In the name
of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." We have been given an
invitation from Jesus. In Mark 16:16 it says, "He that believes and is baptized shall
be saved." In obeying that commandment, we too, can "airwalk" knowing that we
have done as Jesus asked and then walk with Him before landing in Heaven one day.
