Can you explain for me how the good seem to be the ones who suffer the most?
The world gives us the idea that God wants everyone and everything to be OK.
God's Word in Psalm 34:19 says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all." What a promise! We have suffering
sometimes, but God has His hand firmly on the matter!
1 Peter 4:19 goes on to say, "Therefore let those who suffer according to the will
of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator."
Peter is telling us, just as he did way back then, that when we suffer, we must keep
our wits about us and do the right thing. Doing the right thing is continuing our faith
and trust in God. We might have problems in this life, but God knows the answer to
any and all of our problems. Use Him!
