The Old Testament gives us such vivid directions, doesn't it? Jeremiah 29:13
says, "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your
heart."
Ever been lost from your parents? For a while, you did not realize that you were
lost. Once you did, the panic and tears set in. Imagine how the parents feel
when they, too, realize that their child is not with them. God is that way with us.
He longs for us to find Him, and we in turn, when we realize that we are without
Him, long to be in His presence. Our prayer should be for anyone who still isn't
aware that he is lost, to look around, and see if he is with God. We should be
ready to help him find God.
I Peter 3:15 states, "...be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks
you a reason of the hope that is in you.."
Once we are found, it is our job to help others find their way to the Father. We don't
want anyone to remain in a lost condition. Look around you today. Do you know that
you are with the Father? How do you know that?
