If asked, "Why did the chicken cross the road?" Some would begin by saying:
"Why doesn't that chicken stay on his own side anyway?" Or, "If he can't deal
with the problems he has on that side, he certainly won't deal with them on the
other side either!" We are sometimes like that chicken, looking for a better place
to be rather than finding happiness where we are. Galatians 6:4 reminds us:
"But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself
alone, and not in another." If we are doing as we should, then we don't need to be
crossing the road to try another place. Try to make the best of where you are first
and maybe that is where you will end up being happy.
