Michelangelo is quoted as having said: "The greater danger for most of us is
not that our aim is too high and we miss, but that it is too low and we reach it."
We are not challenged today to live a life on purpose. God did not expect us
to coast through life aimlessly, but to use the life we have been given for a
purpose. 1 Corinthians 10:31 tells us: "Therefore, whether you eat or drink,
or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." When we work toward meaningful
goals we can experience the joy of living on purpose. What is it that you are going
to do today to the glory of God? Everything, no matter how small the act, if it is
done to the glory of God the purpose is achieved.
