Almost every person's Bible has a story to tell. Those who hardly, if ever,
pick up a Bible have a a practically new Bible. The pages are not used and
worn. The cover is not in bad shape. In fact, a little dusting, and it looks good.
That is not good. The Bibles that have marked pages, notes stuck here and
there and worn spots on the outside are the Bibles that can tell what we read
about in Psalm 119:105. "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
We can carefully handle The Word by being concerned about the outside, but we
need to be able to discern and apply what is on the inside. What does your
Bible say about you?
