My daughter turned two recently. I had heard of the "terrible twos" where they
start demanding their own way. I want her to by-pass that phase and learn clearly
to love and respect people. Sadly, some adults have never gotten over that period
in their lives. They want their own way and will push aside anyone who gets in their
way. They begin hoarding and never begin to truly love. Luke 18:17 gives us a
thought to consider:
"Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child
will by no means enter it." Children are innocent. They are dependent and trusting.
They are also constantly growing and learning. All of these characteristics are what
Jesus was referring to and notice He too, by-passed the terrible twos.
