Ever noticed how many different ways you can say, "Oh?" It can be an
exclamation, a mere statement, or even said with surprise. It can also be a deep,
wrenching "Oh" that is written like this: "oooohhhh!" When that happens it is
usually because of some understanding of human condition or recognizing human potential. That
might be followed by a statement like: "If there were a God, something would have been
done about this."

Psalm 14:1 begins, "The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.'"

A fool is someone who has adopted a hard attitude about what God
should and shouldn't do if He exists. These may be intelligent people, but they can't
figure out everything about God so they just decide He must not be there. They are, in essence
saying, "No God." This brings about the "Oh factor" for most of us. What we don't know
can and will hurt us.

Hebrews 10:31 says to each of us, "It is a fearful thing to fall into
the hands of the living God." Ooooohhhhh! Our goal should be that people would recognize Him
for what He is and listen to what He has to say!
