I think it was Thomas Edison who said, "An optimist thinks that this
is the best of all the world. A pessimist fears the same thing may be true." We
can add that the pessimist might be right but the optimist surely has a better
time during the journey of life, doesn't he?
Restructuring or re-inventing our lives to align our thoughts and
actions along with God can be a process of looking at the world in a different way.
Isn't that what Paul was saying in Romans 12:2? "Be not conformed to this world but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind."
Look for the best and you might just see it - the best in others and
in the situation around you. Be optimistic as you travel through your day. The best
is yet to come.
