"Do you know the way?" It can be a matter of choice sometimes. A
person can elect which way he will go. God is not going to beat you over the
head with a broom handle to get you to go in a particular direction. He has given us
the directions that He says are best for us, but you have to make a choice - His way or
YOUR way.
Galatians 6:7,8 tells us, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for
whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life."
It is not a confusing choice; it is not a difficult one at all. The
difference between the two is quite distinct, in fact. No one mocks God and God isn't fooled.
He knows better. "I meant well" just doesn't make sense. God doesn't work that way.
You plant tomatoes; you pick tomatoes later. Look at what you are planting. No one has
to go through life wondering what they will get if they plant properly. Do you know what
you are doing? Look to the Word - it will help you make the right choice every time.
