Imagine what life would be like without William Cullen. His wonderful work
has made my life wonderful. There is not a day that goes by that I don't benefit
from his labors. I think there should be a day set aside to honor him. I could
go on and on about him, but I am sure by now I have your attention.
Who is William Cullen? Well, in 1748 he introduced his refrigeration machine.
It is true, we all have benefited so much from his research, but he is not as well
know as one might think.
The sad part is that so many people benefit from Jesus, but they refuse to
know Him.
Philippians 2:9-11 says,
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is
above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of
those on earth, and of those under the earth,
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father.
As you move through your day, remember this from Colossians 3:17,
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
