I tend to use Matthew 18:20 a lot. "For where two or three are gathered together
in My name, there am I in the midst of them." Oh, do I need that! I need to know
that He is here, in that clear, personal way and that this promise is big enough for
the whole world. I can get a warm feeling when I sing hymns of praise to Him,
pray a public prayer, or to partake of the Lord's Supper with my brothers and
sisters - knowing He is also included. I lean back in a worship service at church,
with renewed love, when I think about that verse.
Zephaniah 3:17 speaks to us by saying: "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is
mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He
will joy over thee with singing."
Our God has the ability to do all that and so much more. That information should
make us all have a great day!
