Ever seen someone who was so much like gloomy Eeyore in "Winnie-the-Pooh"?
They couldn't enjoy today's sunshine because they thought of the rain that would
probably come tomorrow. That's a sad condition to be in, isn't it? When we don't
have a grip on who controls our tomorrows, we are concerned about how our
"tomorrows" will turn out.
Psalm 32:11 gives us a picture to hold in front of us. It says, "Be glad in the LORD
and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!" Verse 8 in that
same chapter tells us, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will
guide you with My eye."
He has a better vantage point than we do - He can see around corners. He knows
what our tomorrow will look like and has it in His hand. Trust Him, learn to lean upon
Him, and most certainly, follow Him when He is guiding us.
