I'm a biker. Oh, sure, I don't have the black leather jacket and I don't own a
motorcycle, but at heart, I'm a biker! The reason I don't have that motorcycle,
sitting in my driveway, is because of the verse found in Proverbs 23:19. It says,
"Hear, my son, and be wise; And guide your heart in the way." Why that verse?
It is like an echo from my Dad who never wanted any of his sons to own a
motorcycle. I'm a grown man and can make my own decisions! (Unless my
Dad has asked me not to, no matter how old I get) Isn't that the way it should
be with our Heavenly Father? We do what we can to please Him and we don't do
some things just because He said not to.

John 8:32 says, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
I want to know the truth from God's Word and, in learning that truth, I shall be made
free from my own way, and lean upon His way. After all, God, Our Father, Creator
of all things, Ruler of the universe, the One who holds the future in His hands, knows
what is best for me and for you.
