Where is Jesus in all these discussions? Matthew 18:20 says, "For where two
or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
Jesus is there when two or more are having their discussions about Him. He
was directly involved with those who pressed in around Him. We can read about
that in the Bible. People were clamoring with their issues for His attention. They
wanted to see Jesus and hear Him.
We need to look at those around us, when we are having our discussions, and see
them through the eyes of Jesus. If we read and study His Word, we can then look
with His understanding at those who are gathered in His name. Some of us know
more Scripture than others. Some know more than we know. What we know should
be what He has told us, then we will know where Jesus is in all these discussions
about Him.
