I never was one of those sleep-over guys when I was younger. I was satisfied to
just be home, safe in bed, with Mom, Dad and my brothers in the house. I remember
one time being invited to stay with a good friend. He told me he had made a special
place for me.
John 14:2 reminds me, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so,
I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."
Can you imagine, even in your wildest dreams, what that place will be like that Jesus
has gone to prepare for us? Talk about a sleep-over! How could anyone turn down
that invitation to be with Him in eternity in that special place?
Mark 16:16 tells us how we can get that invitation, "He that believeth and is baptized
shall be saved."
Check out all those scriptures where God has included baptism and see if you have
followed God's commandments. If you love Him you will keep His commandments.
He has a special place prepared for you.
