Ever seen one of those displays that shows thousands of dominoes set up in
long lines? One tiny tap can make the entire line fall, one right after another,
until the entire bunch is down.
Galatians 6:9 says, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season
we shall reap, if we faint not."
That verse is telling me that when we are down, the"domino effect" might occur.
One thing leads to another, and on and on. If we get weary in one part of our
Christian life, the rest will suffer if we are not careful. If we let our Bible reading
slip, our attendance fall, our prayer-life lapse, we're in trouble. Be on guard.
Stay alert! Stand that first thing up straight so that it will not topple the rest.
