What did we ever do before someone invented tape. I use tape for all kinds of
things. I have duck tape, masking tape, and clear tape. Sometimes (most of
the time) I use tape to fix a mistake I've made or to cover up one I've made.
I Peter 4:8 says, "And above all things have fervent love for one another,
for 'love will cover a multitude of sins.'"
That is like using that tape to cover up something so it can't be seen. It also
can fix my problem with someone else if I love them like God would have me
to love them. We need reams of love-tape to be kept handy. We are human
and we do make mistakes, so cover those mistakes with love. It can mend and
hold together until it heals hearts that are broken or torn apart.
