Well, it is Monday again. A lot of people start out their Mondays with a familiar
statement, "I hate Mondays!" Truth is, Monday is really no different than Friday,
except for the proximity to the weekend. (Psalm 118:24)

Monday mornings come with a new set of goals for your work week. We have our
to-do lists either written or at least in our heads. But let me ask you, what are your
spiritual goals for this week? Yes, I know that it is Monday and we are 6 days away
from Sunday and Wednesday is a far off thought in our minds, but have you made
any spiritual plans for this week?

Here are some spiritual goals to ponder this morning:

I have never really studied _____________. This week I am going to read and study
that section of the Bible. In fact, I am going to spend ________ with God's word each
day. 2 Timothy 2:15

This week, I am going to invite _________ to church. Psalm 122:1

This week, I am going to sit down with __________ and discuss their state of salvation.
Matthew 10:27

This week, I am going to increase the amount of time I spend in prayer.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

There is not one of us who can't put an answer in those spots. Talk about starting your
week off with a bang! If we can all fill in those blanks this week and fulfill that plan, think
of how pleased God would be with each of us. Then think about how much glory and
honor we could bring to His name.

Remember these goals, or make you own this week, but have a wonderful day!
