Every problem we face, has a way to surround that problem with God.
Yesterday we talked about red light tension, and turned it into a positive
time. Life not going anywhere? remember, God can float your problems
and keep you from sinking. A negative attitude, or a positive attitude is
your choice.
In some ways, people are alike because we all face 4 basic problems;
Fear, guilt, self-centeredness or the inability to forget. The last one is
the hardest for some.
Philippians 3:13-14
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things
which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
The first one, fear, causes us to draw back into our shells, like a turtle, and stop.
When we are in our shells, we are removing God from our presence.
Psalm 51:11
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Did you know, when they first began making golf balls they were smooth, until
they discovered that is the ball was roughed up with dimples, it would go further.
That's like life. It takes some rough spots to make us go the whole distance.
Spending time with God using our hearts, souls and minds, we can gain the power.
And with Him as our partner, we can be sure that success lies ahead for us.
