I admit that I don't go to the doctor very often, but I surely felt I needed to last
week. I have had a small bone fracture in my back for years and it flared up.
I can't even pick up my ten-week-old daughter without feeling the pain. I knew
then, that a doctor was going to have to give me something to relieve the hurt.
Matthew 9:12 reminds us, "When Jesus heard that, He said to them, 'Those
who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.'" When things
are not right with the soul, we need to go to the Great Physician for relief too.
Jesus, that Great Physician, takes our soul-pain seriously and offers something
for the pain. It is called prayer and that's admitting we need help! Go to that
Physician today, won't you? Feel better about it!
