Aren't you glad that God has allowed people in this world to mature in knowledge
and have the ability to fix things that break? If the furnace stops working, we can
call a repairman, even if he didn't invent the thing. If our wiring goes haywire, we
can call an electrician, even if he didn't make electricity. If we have a spiritual
problem, we can call someone to set us in the right direction. God is the only one
that can repair the soul, because He DID make it. It says He breathed life into us
and we became a living soul(Genesis 2:7). Like anything, we have problems that
need to be fixed. 2 Peter 1:3 puts it this way: "as His divine power has given to us
all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called
us by glory and virtue" Go to the owner's manual, The Bible, and it will direct us in
how to fix things that pertain to the soul.
