For some reason, I have always liked flashlights. Now that I am an adult, I finally
realize why. Flashlights are good for seeing things in the dark! God's Word is like
that. If I use the Bible properly and keep it handy, then it will help me see things
clearer. I find my direction and can stay on track when things around me begin to
look dark. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my
path." I like using God"s Word to illuminate what is coming my way. In the dark,
things can look differently than when they are made clear by the light.
The "boogey-man" can actually be someone that I can get to know.
The terror in the closet can actually be the empty space I left the last
time I went there to pray. Use the light, will you?
