A new month is at hand and we are one whole month into our new year.
When we look back from January 1st until now, this has been a busy month.
It has been busy for our lives individually and busy for the country. I am certain
that the people in Haiti never expected the devastation they have had a month
ago. What will our lives be like a month from today? That question makes us
realize why people are always reminding us to "live for today". I know who
controls our future and I have a healthy respect for Him when I read Proverbs 1:7,
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." Let's secretly act today as if it
were to be our last one and do the kinds of things that can make a difference in the
lives of those around us. It will make us far better people. Think about it!
