Sometimes I think life isn't very fair. I want all sunny days and everything I try to
do to turn out just right. Ain't gonna happen! As the old saying goes, "God never
promised us a rose garden" and remember even in a rose garden, we will find thorns.
Difficulties and hardships are a part of life. I am reminded about life when I read verses
such as 1 Thessalonians 3:3, "That no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you
yourselves know that we are appointed to this." When we can stand firm in the windstorms
of life and remain faithful, we are strengthened in our resolve to serve the Lord with gladness.
Life can be like a roller coaster with all of its ups and down, it is up to us to hang on tight and
grow from the ride.
