A little surprise never hurt anyone. It might surprise you to know, for instance,
that some of the things you have done are good! The constructive, successful
achievement of a task, or learning a new skill of some kind, helps when remember.
These things are little boosters for us when we think negatively about ourselves.
Others may not see them or even know about them and that is fine because we
don't want to brag. The positive things about what we do or say just gives us a
reassurance of our worth. This is a surprise gift we give to ourselves with a
reminder of who made it all possible in the first place; James 1:17 says,
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father..."
