The Greek word for truly knowing the Father and Jesus is ginoskoin, which means
a deep relationship. It is the kind of relationship that Jesus wants us to have with Him
and with each other. How can we really know God if we don't spend time in His Word?
We develop a better understanding of the author of The Book by digging deeply within
the pages of what He has had written. We develop a closer relationship with Him when
we communicate with Him in prayer. When we do have that closeness, we want to share
God with others. Psalms 66:16 puts it this way: "Come and hear, all you who fear God,
and I will declare what He has done for my soul." What have you done today to increase
your relationship with your Creator?
