Discover your talents! In God's kingdom we are His workmanship and His tools.
Our obligation is to find out just what we are good at and work on it. One of the
greatest needs today is to be willing to invest time, talent and energy in helping
others. When Peter was asked by Jesus in John 21:15-17 three times if Peter
loved Him, Peter answered "yes" and then each time Jesus concluded with "feed
My sheep". Jesus was giving Peter a commission, just like He is giving us one
today, to nurture, guide, and edify others. Jesus was telling Peter to find his talent
in what he could do for others and use it. Is your talent in speaking? Then speak.
If your talent is in writing, even a short note, then write. If you are good at encouraging
others, then do so. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "And let us not grow weary while doing
good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Who are you feeding
today? Don't become tired of your work, the reward will be awesome!!!!
