Balance in life is important. If we do this, then we must also do that. We can't do
both at the same time, can we? Notice the balance that is created when we read
Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." I am
given the ability to do things with peace and understanding, because it is Christ who
gives me that ability. He is not telling us we can now rule over anything difficult in
our life. What He is telling us is that when the difficulties come, it will be because
of Christ we will be able to stand firm on His Word and creatively face them.
Christ's power is all we need to develop spiritual vitality.
