People, just like situations, can cause us pain. If we spent the rest of our lives
on some deserted island, with no one to bother us, would that make us happy?
No, loneliness would then be our problem. We are far better off living in the real
world even with all the hurtful things people say and do. We do have God's promise
that He will never leave us nor forsake us. With that in mind, we deal with what happens
on the outside and with what should be going on inside us . Luke 18:7 says, "And shall
God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long
with them?" God will deal justly with people. He is in control. Pray for inner strength to
accept the people, places and things we encounter.
