Sometimes we know who we are on the inside, but would not recognize ourselves
if we saw ourselves walking toward us. I think that is why full-length mirrors were
invented. It is not just the clothes that make the person, it is also that friendly smile,
the expression on the face of a happy, contented individual that we want people to
see. Our insides and outsides ought to match. Being tired might be our worst enemy
in how we look. Galatians 6:9 says, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due
season we shall reap, if we faint not." Even on our busiest day, we can refresh our spirit
by thinking of a hymn, remembering a Scripture, or silently going to God in prayer.
Reflect on what you are thinking today, and let the Son shine in.
