One of the nice things about being a parent is watching your child grow in talking,
thinking and reasoning. I enjoy seeing that in my year and a half old daughter.
We should also enjoy seeing the faith, hope and love in any maturing Christian.
1 Corinthians 13:11 reminds us: "When I was a child, I spoke as a child,
I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man,
I put away childish things." We can enjoy seeing something in a child,
but we don't expect to see it in an adult. Our talking, thinking and
reasoning should reflect our maturity.
